Help SBJFC to support the children of Ghana

SBJFC have teamed up with Emmanuel City FC Ghana and Osu Diamond FC Ghana

to help children of all ages play football. To do this those children need football boots.

Can you please donate any used boots to us to help this cause. If you can, please contact James McDowell U10 SBJ Reds & U12 SBJ Boca coach. He can be reached via mobile on 07973 6832 or via e-mail James.McDowell@sprint.com.

Lets recycle those boots and help other children n the process!

Under 12 Girls Futsal champs

Stevenage Boro Girls U12’s Hertfordshire Futsal Champions

SNJFC under 12 girls girls were crowned Champions of Hertfordshire after winning the indoor Futsal event at the weekend. The successful Stevenage Girls entered two teams in the tournament, ‘Reds’ and ‘Blues’

The Reds won 4 out of 5 matches drawing the other game. In the group stages Stevenage topped their group which included Watford, Garston and Bishops Stortford ‘B’.

The Blues, won one game and drew three, meaning Stevenage were unbeaten on the day.

The final was against Bishops Stortford ‘A’ and after an early goal from Megan Molloy the team held on to win 1-0. This was the climax to an excellent tournament in which the girls did not concede any goals - an amazing achievement in a small sided game.

For winning the Tournament the girls now go forward to represent Hertfordshire in the regional championships in May.

The winning squad was : Natalia N,Sophie D, Paige B, Kate F, Erin S , Emma J and Megan M

Blues Team: Lucy W, Harriett F Amelia F, Kaci M, Ella H and Brooke H
